The Criminal Justice Transfer degree is Intended for students planning to continue their education at a four-year college or university with the goal of obtaining their bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. This degree is designed to give students a strong foundation in the three-component criminal justice system; police, courts, and corrections. Our highly qualified instructors bring real world knowledge and expertise to guide you through your criminal justice education. 

Graduation Requirements
To earn this degree, a student must complete all required courses.
Total credit hours required to complete this AAS degree: 96.0 - 96.5

*To optimize credit transfer, please select general education course options for Critical Thinking/Creativity and Social/Cultural Awareness and Scientific Inquiry from the Transfer Course   list and consult with your MCC advisor and an advisor at the institution you are planning to transfer to for more specific requirements.

The following plan is designed to be the most direct path to degree completion and is based on a fall quarter start. Students are expected to meet with their student success navigator or advisor to plan a customized course schedule that meets their specific needs.   3. Describe and relate the constitutional rights and responsibilities of citizens, offenders, and victims as they apply to state, federal, and procedural laws.
  4. Identify legal and moral responsibilities of criminal justice professionals as they relate to cultural diversity and establishing positive community relationships.
  5. Apply sociological and psychological theories to better understand criminal behavior
