ENGL 2215 - Creative Writing Capstone 4.5 Credits
Students propose, execute, and evaluate their own original creative writing project such as a chapbook of poems, a short story, a play, or a lyric essay. In addition to presenting the work in publishable form, the student gives a public reading of the creative project.
Prerequisites: (4) ENGL 1311 , ENGL 1312 , ENGL 1313 and Instructor approval

Course Objectives
- Propose a cohesive work in their chosen genre.
- Compose an original publishable work in their chosen genre.
- Evaluate the publishability of the work, given the audience expectations of the genre, and explain how the work either satisfies or subverts audience expectations.
