Pathway to Associate Degree: Associate in Applied Science - Information Technology (AASIT)
Program Location: Fort Omaha Campus, Sarpy Center, South Omaha Campus, Online
Graduation Requirements: 31.5 credit hrs.
This career certificate provides students with a foundation in programming logic and modern computer languages. Students become familiar with a language that is utilized in today’s IT businesses.
Note: This versatile certificate can be completed on its own and is also a level I certificate in the Computer Programming concentration. To complete the AASIT degree under this concentration, it must be combined with either the Game Developer (GAMCC) or the Web and Mobile App Programming (WMPCC) level II certificates.
Additionally, this certificate is also a level II certificate in the AASIT Database and Data Science concentration when completed concurrently or after the Data Science (DASCC) certificate.
Students should work with an MCC advisor as soon as possible to determine the pathway that meets their career and education goals.
