SPAN 2110 - Intermediate Spanish I 4.5 Credits
This course builds on previously attained grammar and stresses vocabulary building. It presents the perfect, past subjunctive, future, and conditional tenses as well as commands. It is taught primarily in Spanish.
Prerequisites: (1) SPAN 1120 , SPAN 1061 , or SPAN 1051

Course Objectives 1. Extend speaking ability by participation in conversation on familiar topics.
2. Demonstrate reading knowledge through short essays written in Spanish.
3. Practice verb tenses in present, past, future, conditional and subjunctive mood sequences, both in present and past aspects.
4. Focus on four (4) steps of language learning:
a. Hearing
b. Speaking
c. Reading
d. Writing
