This course reinforces the skills learned in SPAN 2050 . It is taught primarily in Spanish and prioritizes oral communication.

Course Objectives
- Understand the nature and culture of business situations in the Spanish speaking world including the United States, Latin America and Spain.
- Apply Spanish vocabulary to specific business-related situations. Business-related situations include: asking for loans, real estate purchase and sale, renting, selling insurance, free-trade agreements with Latin America.
- Apply appropriate Spanish grammar to written and oral communication including the use of present subjunctive, the absolute superlative, present perfect subjunctive, imperfect subjunctive, and “si”-clauses
- Appropriately produce and comprehend oral communication in Spanish to business-related situations.
- Display an awareness of economic, business and political entities that affect the Spanish-speaking world.
- Demonstrate intermediate level reading comprehension, writing skills, fluent speech and listening comprehension of the Spanish language
