INTD 2200 - Portfolio Design Principles 4.5 Credits
Students create a design portfolio using their existing design projects to prepare for entering the workforce. Three versions of the portfolio will be created, including a printed, PDF, and website format. Students learn to use digital tools to capture professional quality photos, manipulate images and videos, create page layouts, develop a brand identity, and design a website. Students learn to select, organize, and design content to showcase their design experience, style, and breadth of work.

Course Objectives
- Photograph and scan various types of design work to be used in the portfolio
- Manipulate images and videos of design work to be portfolio quality
- Organize portfolio layouts utilizing the elements and principles of design
- Develop a personal brand identity utilizing digital design elements
- Utilize stated software and digital tools to create digital designs and a website
- Output files to print and prepare them for professional presentation
- Discuss design work in written and verbal form for professional presentation
