INFO 2991 - Full-Stack Capstone/Internship

Students integrate skills and knowledge acquired throughout the Full-Stack Web Development curriculum in developing, managing, and executing a web application project from concept to completion. NOTE: This course should be taken during the final quarter of the degree program. This course is offered in the Fall and Spring quarter.

Course Objectives

Conduct needs analysis and express requirements as agile features and stories.
Collaborate with the sponsor and stakeholders to identify and present solution options using mock-ups, prototyping and minimal viable product testing.
Create a solution architecture specification to describe the architecture of the application and its alignment with feature objectives, project management and system operation.
Perform design, development and integration for an n-tiered object-oriented web application in a way that demonstrates use of frameworks to accelerate delivery of a quality solution.
Implement testing best practices in all SDLC phases with emphasis on version control, TDD, automated testing, code quality assessment, continuous integration and deployment.
Perform collaborative development in a multiple role/member team environment required to develop and maintain feature rich contemporary web applications.
