HVAC 2713 - Advanced Building Automation 1 4.5 Credits
Students continue to develop their understanding of Building Automation System topics focusing on development of engineering documents, and creation and implementation of advanced energy efficiency sequences of operation. Students also further refine the basic system they designed and executed in HVAC-2703, to be an overall more effective and energy efficient system.
Prerequisites: (2)HVAC 2703 and HVAC 2401 with a grade of C or better

Course Objectives
- Review and explain commercial HVAC systems and their components.
- Review and discuss Direct Digital Controls.
- Develop a basic controls strategy based on a customer’s needs.
- Compile submittal documents based on their controls strategy.
- Create a complex sequence of operation from scratch.
- Implement the sequence of operation they created.
