HVAC 2703 - Building Automation Fundamentals 2 4.5 Credits
Students continue to develop their understanding of building automation system topics including how to build graphical user interfaces; how to create, test, and respond to system alarms; and how to create and analyze system trends. Students also further refine the basic system they designed and executed in HVAC 1203 , to be an overall more effective and energy efficient system.
Prerequisites: HVAC 1203 with a grade of C or better

Course Objectives
- Review and explain commercial HVAC systems and their components.
- Review and discuss Direct Digital Controls.
- Review elements of graphical user interfaces.
- Review a graphical user interface.
- Explain the function and implementation method of system alarms.
- Explain the function and implementation method of system trends/histories.
