BIM Structural (BIMST)

The following plan is designed to be the most direct path to degree completion and is based on a fall quarter start. Students are expected to meet with their student success navigator or advisor to plan a customized course schedule that meets their specific needs. Program Level Student Learning Outcomes


  1. Describe discipline-specific engineering components as they are integrated into buildings.
  2. Operate industry relevant software to demonstrate knowledge and technical proficiency related to buildings. 
  3. Interpret the design of building engineering systems in buildings.
  4. Create construction documentation for structural, mechanical, electrical, low-voltage, or plumbing systems in buildings.
  5. Design realistic architectural engineering projects through team collaboration.
