Pathway to Associate Degree: Associate in Applied Science - Information Technology (AASIT)
Databases are the core of today’s information systems and comprise one of the fastest growing areas of the information technology field. This career certificate provides students with a strong technical foundation in the design, implementation, and management of a relational database system.
Note: This versatile certificate can be completed on its own and is also a level I certificate that is part of the Database Administration and Data Science concentration. To complete the AASIT degree, this certificate must be combined with one of the following level II certificates:
- Computer Programming (ITPRO)
- Data Science (DASCC)
Students should work with an MCC advisor as soon as possible to determine the pathway that meets their career and education goals.
Graduation Requirements
To earn this degree, a student must complete all required courses.
