Program Level Student Learning Outcomes
- Apply knowledge of motors including the different kinds of motors, power sources, and encoders to the designing, building, and troubleshooting of motor control components. Students will also design, build, and troubleshoot control circuits.
- Describe mechanical power system essentials and demonstrate proper maintenance, removal, and installation procedures.
- Describe the basics of fluid power, both hydraulic and pneumatic, including the transmission of fluid energy.
- Describe core functions and operating fundamentals of low-and high-pressure boilers.
