INFO 1102 - AI Contextualized Prompt Creation


4.5 Credits

Students explore the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and develop skills in prompt engineering to effectively collaborate with AI tools. Through hands-on, applied learning activities, students will examine how prompts shape AI-generated outputs and analyze the ethical, legal, and social implications of AI use. Emphasis is placed on evaluating bias, relevance, and usefulness of AI responses in real-world contexts. Students will engage with authentic industry scenarios, iterative prompt development, and creative applications to enhance their critical thinking and prompt-writing skills. Special attention is given to aligning AI capabilities with professional and academic goals across various fields of study.
