Course Objectives

The student will develop an understanding of the safety, equipment, handling, and procedures required using coal as a fuel in a power plant.
The student will develop an understanding of the safety, equipment, handling, and procedures required to use oil and gas as a fuel in a power plant.
The student will develop an understanding of the safety, procedures and equipment involved in the handling and storage of nuclear fuel.
