AUTB 2560 - Electrical and Mechanical Systems II 3.0 Credits
The student is introduced to the advanced mechanical and electrical systems of an automobile as it relates to auto collision repair. The learning focus for this course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop competent skills in ADAS, calibration, powertrain removal, electrical repair, and hybrid/electric vehicle safety.
Prerequisites: (1) AUTB 2550

Course Objectives
- Students will identify, diagnose, and repair electrical components commonly damaged during and automotive collision.
- Students will effectively identify, remove, and install power train components.
- Students will effectively run Pre and Post vehicles scans to identify electrical faults.
- Students will explain, diagnose, and perform electrical calibrations for the Advanced Driver Assist Systems.
- Students will safely disconnect and reconnect hybrid and electric vehicle drive train systems.
