Students learn key concepts, common practices, and the functions of compensation and benefits within an organization’s total rewards framework. Practical learning experiences emphasize how compensation systems are designed, structured, and administered to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with employment laws. Topics include job evaluation, pay structures, incentive and merit systems, employee benefits, and current issues influencing compensation practices in today’s workplace.
