This course covers the proper way to collect and reuse grey water. Grey water collection serves two purposes: cutting down on both the amount of freshwater needed and the wastewater generated by a building.

Course Objectives
  1. Develop an understanding of how grey water recycling contributes to water conservation.
  2. Identify the proper methods for collecting grey water and harvesting rain water.
  3. Gain an understanding of the proper storage, pumping and filtering systems needed for a grey water system
  4. Understand the systems needed for the protection of potable water systems
