  1. Demonstrate applications of statics and the mathematics of statics
  2. Apply principles of statics.

  4. Apply the concepts of equilibrium to various structures.
  5. Analyze a truss.
  6. Define friction and the forces associated with friction.
  7. Calculate the location of the centroid.
  8. Determine the moment of inertia of an object
