REES 2120 - Real Estate Sales and Marketing 4.5 Credits
Students will learn concepts related to selling and marketing in the real estate field. The course revolves around ways to market oneself properly as a real estate professional. The course explores the principles of market research, data analysis, and market segmentation, which are applied to teach a more efficient salesperson. Topics include target marketing, technology uses, researching markets, finance, laws and ethics, and ways to understand how to serve clients.

Course Objectives
- Define and explain the principles of market research, data analysis, and market segmentation.
- identify technology and social media applications that are useful in real estate marketing.
- Apply elements of a marketing plan that includes personality/learning styles, motivation, and overcoming standard objections.
- Distinguish between the types of financing and the impact of government laws including Fair Housing and the Americans with Disabilities.
