MATH 2510 - Differential Equations 4.5 Credits
This course covers methods for solving first and second order ordinary differential equations and first order non-linear differential equations along with applications. It also covers power series solutions and Laplace transform methods.
Prerequisites: MATH 2411 with a grade of C or better.

Course Objectives
- Find explicit and implicit solutions to linear first order differential equations.
- Approximate solutions to linear first order differential equations using slope fields or numerical methods.
- Write first order differential equations to model and solve application problems.
- Find explicit and implicit solutions to higher-order differential equations.
- Write higher order differential equations to model and solve application problems.
- Solve a differential equation by means of a power series.
- Find the Laplace transform of a function.
- Use the method of Laplace transforms to solve a differential equation.
