INFO 2944 - Web Development Capstone/Internship

This course gives students the opportunity to integrate the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the web curriculum. Students develop, manage, and execute a web project from concept to completion.

Note: This course should be taken during the final quarter of the program. This course is offered in Fall and Spring quarters.

Course Objectives

Plan and implement a Web project using the Web Development Tools to plan and execute a Web project
Provide documentation to the client
Create a Web project that complies with accessibility guidelines and XHTML specifications
Create optimized graphic and Flash content
Manage repetitive content efficiently
Effectively use Cascading Style Sheets
Give a professional presentation of the completed Web project
Plan, build and configure Web server
Use custom scripts to control interactive elements as requested by the client
