INFO 2944 - Web Development Capstone/Internship


4.5 Credits

This course gives students the opportunity to integrate the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the web curriculum. Students develop, manage, and execute a web project from concept to completion. 

Note: This course should be taken during the final quarter of the program.  This course is offered in Fall and Spring quarters.

Course Objectives
  1. Plan and implement a Web project using the Web Development Tools to plan and execute a Web project
  2. Provide documentation to the client
  3. Create a Web project that complies with accessibility guidelines and XHTML specifications
  4. Create optimized graphic and Flash content
  5. Manage repetitive content efficiently
  6. Effectively use Cascading Style Sheets
  7. Give a professional presentation of the completed Web project
  8. Plan, build and configure Web server
  9. Use custom scripts to control interactive elements as requested by the client
