INFO 2942 - IT Support Capstone


4.5 Credits

This capstone course provides students with a culminating, project-based experience that integrates technical, operational, and professional skills acquired throughout the IT Support Career Certificate program. Students will design, implement, document, and present a real-world IT support solution that reflects industry practices, service management principles, and organizational needs. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving, documentation, communication, and operational readiness within an IT support environment.

Course Objectives

  4. Apply troubleshooting, testing, and validation techniques to ensure solution effectiveness.
  5. Produce clear technical documentation suitable for IT support teams and end users.
  6. Demonstrate professional communication through written reports and oral presentations.
  7. Evaluate their solution against operational, security, and maintainability considerations.
