INFO 2644 - Database Reporting 4.5 Credits
Students gain the skills needed to design, develop, implement and maintain database reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. The course covers basic- through advanced-level report creation. The course aligns with the Microsoft Business Intelligence certification.

Course Objectives
- Discuss the tools use to design reports and dashboards and explain how they are used in Business Intelligence.
- Install the SQL Server Reporting Services server and explore the architecture.
- Describe how SQL Server Reporting Services works with SharePoint.
- Create reports using the report wizard and manually.
- Describe a matrix report.
- Install a report server, create and format different types of reports, and create data sets used in reports.
- Create reports with advanced features, charts, maps and stored procedures.
- Manage report access and security. Create a KPI score card report, using the interactive Sparkline report and create tables with dynamic columns.
- Configure and use the report manager to view reports.
- Create a mobile report
- Manage security operations and maintenance of the report server.
