INFO 1532 - C++ Programming II

Students completing this course will be able to integrate data types, one- and multi-dimensional arrays, lists and strings, records, records (C++ structs), classes and data abstraction, object-oriented software development, pointers, dynamic data, linked structures, and recursion into their programming skills.

Course Objectives
  1. Describe the methods of developing programs in C++ to solve problems.
  2. Describe the basic programming concepts and terms used in C++.
  3. Explain the fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming and how they map to C++ language features.
  4. Demonstrate the development of a computer program in C++.
  5. Demonstrate the use of basic C++ features for modular programming, flow control, and manipulation of basic data types.
  6. Demonstrate the object-oriented approach to modeling problems.
  7. Demonstrate the use of object-oriented features of C++ to implement a solution based on an object model.
  8. Develop a program using recent C++ features.
