Course Objectives

Examine the history of law and the legal process.

Differentiate between probable cause, reasonable suspicion, and beyond a reasonable doubt.
Discuss different types of warrants and the correlation to the exclusionary rule.
Understand confessions and the correlation to 5^th amendment.
Identify witness qualifications in court.
Examine hearsay rules.
Review documentary and scientific evidence.
