This course is a continuation of the introductory material. The apprentice continues working on math for the plumbing trade.

Course Objectives
  1. Discuss Fixture Units for waste and vent
  2. Discuss valves and faucets used in the plumbing trade with proper plumbing terminology
  3. Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to join different types of piping materials used in the plumbing trade
  4. Recognize and explain the basic symbols of a residential blueprint
  5. Demonstrate the ability to make and interpret simple isometric drawings
  6. Calculate mathematically: volume capacity of rectangles, cylinders, spheres and segments; 72, 60, 22 ½ and 22 ½ degrees piping offsets; head, force and water pressures
  7. Discuss fixture units for water piping for residential
