PLAP 1120 - Plumbing IB 7.0 Credits
This course is a continuation of the introductory material. The apprentice continues working on math for the plumbing trade.

Course Objectives
- Discuss Fixture Units for waste and vent
- Discuss valves and faucets used in the plumbing trade with proper plumbing terminology
- Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to join different types of piping materials used in the plumbing trade
- Recognize and explain the basic symbols of a residential blueprint
- Demonstrate the ability to make and interpret simple isometric drawings
- Calculate mathematically: volume capacity of rectangles, cylinders, spheres and segments; 72, 60, 22 ½ and 22 ½ degrees piping offsets; head, force and water pressures
- Discuss fixture units for water piping for residential
