DIMA 2351 - Package Design

Students are presented with challenges in design of packages and in the 3-D graphic design process.  Students will emphasize material selection, fabrication, and structural design to create packages and three-dimensional advertising.

Prerequisites: (1) DIMA 1310

Course Objectives
  1. Identify materials used for various recyclable consumer goods.
  2. Select appropriate material for specific packaging.
  3. Select appropriate fabrication methods for specific packaging.
  4. Design the structure for packaging specific goods.
  5. Design surface graphics for specific packaging
