DIMA 2300 - Logo Design and Branding

This introduces students to branding and identity design.  Students will convey ideas by creating abstract imagery to develop elements of a brand identity.

Prerequisites: (1) DIMA 1325

Course Objectives
  1. Define the meaning of graphic design.
  2. Identify and evaluate communication through the use of graphic symbols.
  3. Synthesize the components used in graphic design and brand identity.
  4. Analyze and evaluate existing solutions through case studies.
  5. Research, propose, produce and present effective graphic design solutions.
  6. Evaluate solutions through critique.
