DIMA 2220 - Dimensional Illustration

Students create a body of work that explores dimensional solutions to Illustration problems. Students work with non-traditional materials to create low-relief, sculptural, kinetic, and package illustrations.

Prerequisites: (4) DIMA 1110 , DIMA 1120 , ARTS 1010  and ARTS 1020

Course Objectives
  1. Research, conceptualize, and develop each project to illustrate a concept or idea.
  2. Examine a variety of dimensional media and techniques, selecting the most conducive to individual subject matter.
  3. Create dimensional illustrations.
  4. Explore the different types of illustration through research and reports.
  5. Appraise individual projects.
