DIMA 1120 - Digital Design: Vector

This course focuses on the visual and technical processes of digital design using vector (resolution independent) applications and includes experience with raster/bitmap software. Students learn a vector software application through a series of exercises and projects that explore creative problem-solving while applying graphic design theory and principles.

Course Objectives
  1. Identify all components of vector application menu structure.
  2. Operate all vector application tools and menu functions.
  3. Complete exercises using application tools and menu functions in a manner that meets visual and conceptual criteria.
  4. Manage menu functions to successfully print images in full color.
  5. Successfully organize and present electronic and print portfolios.
