DIMA 2210 - Electronic Illustration

This course explores advanced illustration concepts and techniques through vector software combined with raster software. The course emphasizes concept development and personal style along with demonstrations of computer techniques. Output is both print form and animation.

Prerequisites: (2) DIMA 1110  and DIMA 1120

Course Objectives
  1. Create images using vector and raster techniques.
  2. Apply design and drawing concepts to vector illustration.
  3. Apply illustration concepts to a variety of communication forms.
  4. Create animation assets using vector software.
  5. Identify current and historical styles and techniques in illustration.
  6. Output illustrations to presentation format.
