DIMA 1200 - Illustration I 4.5 Credits
This course covers the major movements in illustration. It also emphasizes media variety and techniques related to technical and pictorial illustration.
Prerequisites: (4) ARTS 1010 ; ARTS 1020 ; DIMA 1110 ; and DIMA 1120

Course Objectives
- Research and develop each project so it illustrates a concept or idea.
- Examine a variety of media and techniques, selecting the most conducive to individual subject matter.
- Explore the different types of illustration through assigned textbook readings; applying a relevant style to each project.
- Appraise individual projects in group critiques.
