ARCH 1250 - Revit Project Management

Students learn fundamental skills for managing Revit projects to optimize organization, coordination and workflow within a multi-discipline design team. Previous experience with Revit is leveraged to gain functional knowledge of topics including templates, worksharing, annotation styles, complex scheduling, and advanced content creation.

Course Objectives

Utilize Revit Visibility, Design, and Phasing settings.
Develop a Revit project template in support of chosen outcomes.
Analyze Revit element conditions with advanced scheduling techniques.
Create complex annotations and model families with formula-driven parameters.
Contrast Revit work-sharing approaches to select appropriate work-sharing methods and conditions.
Apply advanced modeling tools to complex project requirements.
Create customized workflows to explore automation of Revit tasks.
