AUTB 1300 - Street Rod/Restoration I 3.0 Credits
Constructing or restoring a good street rod requires starting with a good classic auto and a good design. This course provides students with the skills needed to do this by providing the fundamentals in research and planning needed to build a street rod or restore a classic car.

Course Objectives 1. Use the internet and publications to research a street rod project.
2. Propose a plan to build a street rod project from start to finish.
3. Draft a completed street rod plan to include vehicle to be used.
4. Give examples of tools and materials list.
5. Establish type of drive train to be used.
6. Calculate total cost of parts and materials including vehicle purchase.
