Course Objectives
- Perform operations with rational expressions and rational exponents.
- Perform operations with complex numbers.
- Solve linear and non-linear systems of equations and graph systems of linear inequalities.
- Graph functions by plotting points, using symmetry and translations. Determine and graph the inverse of a one-to-one function and write in standard form.
- Locate the zeros and graph both polynomial and rational functions. Solve optimization application problems.
- Solve and graph exponential and logarithmic functions. Solve application problems requiring use of exponential and logarithmic equations.
- Write the equation of a circle and sketch its graph.
- Solve problems involving sequences and series.
- Solve probability problems and use the binomial theorem
