Course Objectives
  1. Perform operations with rational expressions and rational exponents.
  2. Perform operations with complex numbers.
  3. Solve linear and non-linear systems of equations and graph systems of linear inequalities.
  4. Graph functions by plotting points, using symmetry and translations.  Determine and graph the inverse of a one-to-one function and write in standard form.
  5. Locate the zeros and graph both polynomial and rational functions. Solve optimization application problems.
  6. Solve and graph exponential and logarithmic functions. Solve application problems requiring use of exponential and logarithmic equations.
  7. Write the equation of a circle and sketch its graph.
  8. Solve problems involving sequences and series.
  9. Solve probability problems and use the binomial theorem
