AUTB 2241 - Nonstructural Repair VI 6.0 Credits
This class requires students to complete 60 flat-rate hours of collision repairs. It covers frame and suspension alignment, electrical systems, heating, and air conditioning.
Prerequisites: (1) Within 2 years successful completion of AUTB 2240 must be completed prior to taking this course.

Course Objectives 1. Select and apply the proper undercoat materials.
2. Test the different sanding material and demonstrate their use.
3. Prepare adjacent panels for blending.
4. Mark a vehicle for spot repairs; panel repairs, or a complete refinish job.
5. Remove dents from bolted and welded-on panels.
6. Remove and replace bolted and welded-on panels.
7. Refinish plastics after repair.
