ARTS 2981 - Internship Variable Credits
Students apply the principles learned in arts entrepreneurship in a workplace setting. The work setting can be public, private, or nonprofit as long as it is appropriate to arts entrepreneurship. Based on state guidelines, students must complete 40 hours of work for each credit hour earned in this course.

Course Objectives 1. Maintain professional appearance and regular presence in the workplace as the timeline was determined by the intern, faculty, and supervisor.
2. Demonstrate competency in corresponding effectively with professionals in the field.
3. Apply art and/or art history skills acquired in class or the studio to assist the intern supervisor.
4. Effectively research on behalf of the supervisor or institution where the internship is taking place.
5. Provide physical and/or conceptual assistance with design, execution, installation and/or de-installation of works of art or exhibitions.
6. Organize events or meetings and attend meetings as advised by the supervisor or institution.
7. Follow instructions for other duties as assigned by the supervisor or institution.
