PHYS 211A - General Physics IIA 2.5 Credits This course is a continuation of the calculus-based college physics sequence. The course is taught as three courses (PHYS 211A, 211B, and 211C), all of which must be successfully completed to transfer as a semester-length course. Topics for this portion include waves, sound, and electricity. NOTE: The corequisite MATH 2411 may be taken prior to or concurrently with PHYS 211A/B. This course includes both lecture and lab components.
Prerequisites: (3) MATH 2410 ; PHYS 210C ; and college-level reading, writing, and math proficiency must be completed prior to taking this course. Pre/Corequisite: (1)MATH 2411 must be taken prior or at the same time as this course. Lec: 2 Lab: 1.5 Cr: 2.5
