FIST 1020 - Fire Behavior and Combustion

This course explores the theories and fundamentals of how and why fires start, spread, and are controlled. Topics include fundamental laws of chemistry, states of matter, gas laws, chemical bonding, and thermodynamics with applications to various industrial processes. Prerequisites: (1) Acceptance into the Fire Science Technology (FSAAS) program must be completed prior to taking this course.
