Liberal Arts/Academic Transfer - Associate in Arts (LATAA)

Award: Associate in Arts Degree
Academic Focus Area: Transfer
 

This degree strengthens foundation skills, provides broad understanding, and develops thinking skills as students prepare for advanced studies in Communication, Education, Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.  Students completing this degree can transfer their credits into a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year institution.

Major Requirements: 31.5
Elective Requirements: 18.0
Total credit hours required: 91.5 - 93.5
 

*Note: Students should select courses from each category to meet required credit hours.  Students should consult with advisors at MCC and the chosen transfer institution to select courses that best meet transfer program requirements. Students can also refer to the MCC Transfer Center for specific pathways to our partner schools. 

Students may not use the same course to satisfy more than one program requirement.
