Software testing, automated testing, and software quality assurance have all become a large discipline in information technology. With the growing need for companies to serve better products faster, the importance of software testing, in turn, has grown. Software testers are increasingly expected to be skilled in not only manual testing processes, but also in automated testing, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration tools. These skills range from writing automation scripts using scripting languages, system and web administration, aspects of project management and collaboration to unit testing.

The Software Testing and Automation career certificate will provide effective tools and knowledge for those involved in all stages of Software Development and testing processes such as UI testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, Unit testing, and more. In the scope of Agile and Behavior Driven Development, students will develop skills necessary to ensure well documented testing, establish processes, correctly interpret and reproduce results, and collaborate with various audiences.

All courses must have a grade of C or better to complete.
