PRMA 2416 - Advanced Manufacturing Technology 9.0 Credits
This course is designed to provide students with a more in-depth set of skills using advanced technology. Not only does this course build students’ skills from the previous three CNC courses (CNC I, CNC II, an CNC III), it introduces them to the 3-D printer, 4-Axis, and Robotics.
Prerequisites: (1) PRMA 2414 with a grade of C or better

Course Objectives 1. Appropriately program the CNC machines for the correct job specifications autonomously with instructor observation for safety and correct methods.
2. Determine the correct materials, tools, and machines needed for each project autonomously with instructor observation for safety and correct methods.
3. Apply the most efficient pathway to complete each project autonomously with instructor observation for safety and correct methods.
4. Inspect their own parts for quality without instructor support.
