INFO 2235 - Cisco CCNP Advanced Routing 4.5 Credits
Students learn advanced networking concepts, apply knowledge and skills through hands-on and simulated network activities, and demonstrate proficiency through realistic problem-solving scenarios. Students implement advanced routing techniques and services including Layer 3 Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, infrastructure security, and infrastructure services.

Course Objectives
- Design, build, and tune enterprise routing using Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP).
- Design, build, and tune enterprise routing using Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
- Design, build, and tune routing using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
- Implement conditional forwarding and route redistribution on the enterprise network.
- Design and build VPN Site-to-Site Wide Area Network (WAN) connections.
- Secure Site-to-Site VPN using Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) and Internet Protocol Security (IPSEC).
- Implement best-practice infrastructure security and management measures on a network.
- Secure network devices using network access strategies.
