INFO 2235 - Cisco CCNP Advanced Routing

Students learn advanced networking concepts, apply knowledge and skills through hands-on and simulated network activities, and demonstrate proficiency through realistic problem-solving scenarios. Students implement advanced routing techniques and services including Layer 3 Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, infrastructure security, and infrastructure services.

Course Objectives

Design, build, and tune enterprise routing using Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP).
Design, build, and tune enterprise routing using Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
Design, build, and tune routing using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Implement conditional forwarding and route redistribution on the enterprise network.
Design and build VPN Site-to-Site Wide Area Network (WAN) connections.
Secure Site-to-Site VPN using Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) and Internet Protocol Security (IPSEC).
Implement best-practice infrastructure security and management measures on a network.
Secure network devices using network access strategies.
