PSPT 1430 - Motorcycle/ATV Tune-Up 4.5 Credits
After completion of this course, learners are able to identify maintenance services and apply previously studied two- and four-cycle engine principles to motorcycles and ATVs. Focus includes real life shop experience such as dealing with customer complaints, hands-on maintenance, and troubleshooting of motorcycles and ATVs.
Prerequisites: (3) PSPT 1000, PSPT 1100 and PSPT 1110

Course Objectives
- Identify, describe, and perform various types inspections needed prior to tune-ups.
- Perform proper procedures for diagnosis and troubleshooting of engine performance issues.
- Install performance accessories and tune engine management system to proper running condition.
- Describe the procedures for preparing a powersports vehicle for storage and returning it to service after the storage.
