PSPT 1210 - ATV, UTV, and Snowmobile Drivetrains


6.0 Credits

Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing common ATV (all-terrain vehicles), UTV (utility-task vehicles), and snowmobile system issues is the main classroom/lab focus. Students obtain hands-on experience with clutches, transmissions, drivelines. Accessory installation and Maintenance Procedures are integrated.

Course Objectives
  1. Develop knowledge and skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair common clutch issues effectively.  
  2. Develop knowledge and skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair common issues with transmissions, and drivelines. 
  3. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair final drive systems. 
  4. Identify and perform ATV/UTV, and snowmobile engine troubleshooting and repairs.
