INFO 1229 - MS APPLICATIONS II 4.5 Credits
This course is a continuation of INFO 1228, MS Applications I. Students use intermediate and advanced features of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to edit and refine professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Students who successfully complete this course are prepared to take the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Associate level Word, Excel, and PowerPoint certification exams.
Prerequisites: (1) INFO 1228 must be completed prior to this course.

Course Objectives
- Identify intermediate and advanced functions and tools used within Microsoft Word.
- Perform tasks in a new or existing document using intermediate and advanced functions and tools within Microsoft Word.
- Identify intermediate and advanced functions and tools used within Microsoft Excel.
- Perform tasks in a new or existing workbook using intermediate and advanced functions and tools within Microsoft Excel.
- Identify intermediate and advanced functions and tools used within Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Perform tasks in a new or existing presentation using intermediate and advanced functions and tools within Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate time management skills.
