Course Objectives
  1. Define the basic principles of hydraulics and fluid for hydraulic power.
  2. Examine proper safety procedures related to fluid power applications, maintenance and safety.
  3. Analyze sealing devices, fluids, sources of hydraulic power, and controls used in hydraulics.
  4. Describe the functions of actuators, system components, and circuits used in fluid power applications.
  5. Define the basic principles of pneumatics.
  6. Examine pneumatic power systems and controls.
  7. Analyze pneumatic power applications, maintenance requirements, and symbols.
