Course Objectives
- Define the basic principles of hydraulics and fluid for hydraulic power.
- Examine proper safety procedures related to fluid power applications, maintenance and safety.
- Analyze sealing devices, fluids, sources of hydraulic power, and controls used in hydraulics.
- Describe the functions of actuators, system components, and circuits used in fluid power applications.
- Define the basic principles of pneumatics.
- Examine pneumatic power systems and controls.
- Analyze pneumatic power applications, maintenance requirements, and symbols.
