VACA 2981 - Internship


Variable Credits

Through internships, students gain experience working in a professional video workplace performing a variety of functions, including set preparation, video production and post-production, and audio production and post-production. Based on state guidelines, students must complete 40 hours of work for each credit hour.

Course Objectives
  1. Maintain professional appearance and regular presence in the workplace as the timeline was determined by the intern, faculty, and supervisor.
  2. Demonstrate competency in corresponding effectively with professionals in the field.
  3. Apply media production skills acquired in class or the studio to assist the intern supervisor.
  4. Organize events or meetings and attend meetings as advised by the supervisor or institution.
  5. Follow instructions for other duties as assigned by the supervisor or institution.
