VACA 2981 - Internship Variable Credits
Through internships, students gain experience working in a professional video workplace performing a variety of functions, including set preparation, video production and post-production, and audio production and post-production. Based on state guidelines, students must complete 40 hours of work for each credit hour.

Course Objectives
- Maintain professional appearance and regular presence in the workplace as the timeline was determined by the intern, faculty, and supervisor.
- Demonstrate competency in corresponding effectively with professionals in the field.
- Apply media production skills acquired in class or the studio to assist the intern supervisor.
- Organize events or meetings and attend meetings as advised by the supervisor or institution.
- Follow instructions for other duties as assigned by the supervisor or institution.
