Course Objectives
  1. Recognize the medium, form, and function of painting, sculpture, architecture, literature, poetry, religion, music and dance of the Western world.
  2. Compare and contrast cultures of the early Western world and the modern world.
  3. Interpret the arts of the Western world in an historical, social, and global context.
  4. Analyze the universal humanity in its artistic expressions that transcend its culture and time.
