Course Objectives
- Recognize the medium, form, and function of painting, sculpture, architecture, literature, poetry, religion, music and dance of the Western world.
- Compare and contrast cultures of the early Western world and the modern world.
- Interpret the arts of the Western world in an historical, social, and global context.
- Analyze the universal humanity in its artistic expressions that transcend its culture and time.
