DIMA 1620 - Introduction to 3-D Modeling and Animation 4.5 Credits
This course is an introduction to the production of motion picture graphics using 3-D modeling and animation software. Students’ study and practice techniques of 3-D model execution and scene design with light and camera placement.

Course Objectives
- Create 3-D models and materials using Industry Standard software.
- Control the appearance of a 3-D environment with the placement of lights and cameras.
- Understand the basics of linking the elements of a 3-D model in preparation for animation.
- Design and execute a completed animation.
- Export the animation to the appropriate electronic media.
